What Maurizio Sarri told Chelsea angry fans who confronted him after 4-0 Bournemouth thrashing (Photos)

Chelsea’s 4-0 humiliating defeat at the hands of Bournemouth was not a shock only for players but also supporters. After the match Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri had a talk with his Blues stars in the dressing room. And while they were discussing the match a group of Chelsea fans were waiting outside the Vitality Stadium until the manager left in order to make their feelings known. Sarri was stopped by a couple of Blues supporters as he made his way from the dressing room. One of them asked him if he had it in him to be able to motivate the under-performing players as the display was “disgusting” and labelled it the “worst performance he has ever seen”. The former Napoli boss showed his class by offering his sincere apologies, saying sorry several times before shaking hands and leaving on good terms. Sarri now faces the task of trying to get through to his players so they can bounce back from successive Premier League defeats.
