Maurizio Sarri reveals the ban he has imposed since replacing Antonio Conte

Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri is known for his kind attitude towards players despite strict regime follower former boss Anotio Conte. Since his appointment Sari has discarded two of former boss Antonio Conte’s rules. The Italian boss demanded the team to stay in a west London hotel on the evening before home fixtures. Sarri loosened the nutritional rules and scrapped the hotel sanction. However, the boss has revealed in his latest press conference that he imposed a new ban and stopped his players from training with weights at the gym. "It’s all natural work they do in the gym. Nobody does weights," said Sarri. "When have you ever seen a player on the pitch carrying weights? Alvaro [Morata] stayed home and will have an aerobic training session. ‘Five seconds, ten seconds, 15 seconds, recovery. It is an aerobic session and he’ll have strengthening training but we don’t use weights. ‘Sometimes the players need to train on some specific things, to work on physical qualities instead, but on other things they don’t have to. ‘Sometimes this is better than actually playing. If they only play, they will lose that physical quality they need." Chelsea are now the only unbeaten team in Europe’s top five leagues in all competitions after Manchester United’s 2-1 win over Juventus in Turin. The Blues will next face BATE on Thursday with a hope to all-but wrap up the group with a positive result.
