Maurizio Sarri reacts to Andreas Christensen’s toilet break during Chelsea defeat to Arsenal

Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen was an unused substitute as Chelsea lost 2-0 to Arsenal on Saturday. It has emerged that the Denmark international did not stick around to see the final whistle. According to The Times, having watched Sarri use his third and final substitution to introduce Callum Hudson-Odoi at the Emirates Stadium, the Danish defender decided to head to the dressing room to use the toilet. Christensen did not reappear despite there still being 15 minutes, including stoppage time, of the game left to play but when asked about the incident Sarri insisted he was concerned about the health of his player. “I was worried, more than anything," Sarri said, laughing. "You know very well that, on match days, Christensen always has a stomach ache. "I don't know the reason, but he's very nervous. He had to go to the toilet, so I don't know what to say.”
