Mauricio Pochettino has said that he would like to come back to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium one day and cheer the team on.
Former Spurs boss is currently in charge at the Paris Saint-Germain, after being sacked from the north London side back in 2019.
Pochettino spent five-and-a-half years in charge at Tottenham, and during that time he managed to qualify for the Champions League final with the Lilywhites.
Despite having now taken on a new project, the Argentine has admitted that he would like to return to north London one day to support his former club, as well as admitting that he remains a part of the “Tottenham family.”
Answering questions and messages on the Champions League’s official Instagram page, Pochettino said:
“Thank you very much for your message. I know that it is not a question but I think it is unbelievable, the journey… the five-and-a-half years that we spent together.
“It is always going to be a memory in my heart. I am a part of the Tottenham family.
“I hope, one day, to be in White Hart Lane cheering for the Spurs.”
