Matty Longstaff could leave Newcastle United

Newcastle star Matty Longstaff's future at St. James' Park is unclear. Respected journalist Ciaran Kelly has discussed the future of the player on the latest episode of the "Everything is a Black and White" podcast after Steve Bruce opted to play Fabian Schar in midfield for the Toon's 2-1 defeat to Watford. According to Kelly, if Newcastle continue not playing Longstaff, they could risk losing him. “He should be getting minutes in a game like this, particularly in the middle of the park where they were struggling so much," he said. “It just adds another layer of intrigue to another saga, and at the moment, you’re wondering is it going to result in him staying at Newcastle, and the longer it goes on you’re thinking he’s going to leave and that would be a real shame.” Longstaff deal with Newcastle United expires at the end of the season.
