Ajax star Matthijs de Ligt, who has been linked with a move to Manchester United has attracted attention from the Reds fans after ‘liking’ a post on Instagram from club legend Rio Ferdinand.
The Dutchman is set to leave Amsterdam this summer after it was claim by CEO Edwin van Der Sar that the defender had likely played his last game for the club which didn’t stay unnoticed by United fans.

Earlier this season Ferdinand described de Ligt as ‘the best young centre-half on the planet’ and said he was ‘born’ to play on the biggest stage.
