Mateo Kovacic has taken to Instagram to send a message following his departure from Chelsea.
Kovacic has signed a four-year deal with Manchester City as he leaves the Blues having joined them in 2019. He had a one year left on his contract at Chelsea.
The 29-year-old leaves Chelsea after having made 221 appearances for the Blues in which he scored 6 goals and provided 15 assists.
With the Blues, the Croatian won the Champions League, Europa League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup.
Taking to Instagram, Kovacic wrote: "It’s been an incredible pleasure to play for such a great club and win some of the biggest trophies in the sport. Chelsea is a club I have loved every second of being at but the time has come for me to move on.
"It’s been a tough 12 months for everyone and I think we can all agree it hasn’t been to the usual Chelsea standards but I’ve enjoyed my time here in London. See you soon, Mateo."
