Massimiliano Allegri 'sets deadline to become new Manchester United manager'

Massimiliano Allegri will reportedly refuse to take over Manchester United - unless he gets the job in the next few weeks. Allegri, the former Juventus boss, is currently out of work and is the man that United want to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. United boss Solskjaer is under increasing pressure to save his job after a run of poor results which has left them sitting 12th in the Premier League table. Gazzetta dello Sport claim that while the 52-year-old is interested in taking the job, Allegri wants the post early to have as much time to turn the team around.
