Mason Greenwood names three Manchester United teammates that helped him the most

Manchester United youngster Mason Greenwood has thanked his three teammates Juan Mata, Daniel James and Anthony Martial for the support they have given him since making breakthrough at Old Trafford. The 18-year-old academy striker has made his debut for the club last season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, then becoming a key member of the first-team squad. Greenwood has been sparkling this season, netting 7 goals and becoming United's second highest scorer. After his brilliant Premier League goal against Everton on Sunday, the youngster has thanked the teammates that helped him to grow up at the club. He told United Review: "Obviously, it’s tough playing at the top level but it’s good to have all the other lads helping you out on the pitch. It’s like you never feel alone. If you make a mistake, it’s okay because everyone makes mistakes. I would say all the other lads help you; before the game, they are geeing you up and everything. I sit next to Juan [Mata], Dan James and Anthony Martial in the dressing room so they are the main ones, who help me out a lot. But all the lads are really nice and helpful." Greenwood made his first Premier League start during the club's 2 - 1 win over Tottenham, and 18-year-old admits that victory was his hardest test in the first team. "It makes you feel good knowing you’ve actually played against Tottenham Hotspur in a Premier League game, and started. It helps your belief. Tottenham was probably my hardest game so far. I found myself in pockets though and was getting on the ball in space and turning and running and passing. It was a bit of both and it was hard sometimes but, at other times, it was okay, I would say. We were working hard for each other and got the win. We deserved it as well," he added.
