Martin Odegaard has spoken up about what it was like playing for Arsenal under Mikel Arteta.
Arsenal have been interested in James Maddison’s transfer throughout this summer and he seems to be a realistic option.
However, if the Gunners sign the player he will be given almost the same task as Odegaard.
Previously, the Norwegian talked about how easy it was to fit into Arteta’s team as a midfielder, which will undoubtedly be encouraging for Maddison.
“As I’ve said many times, I always enjoyed the way Arsenal play football and now especially after Mikel took over, this style suits me really well.
“That was more important than the dream of playing in the Premier League. The most important thing was the club, the style and everything around,” Martin said.
“I think I’m adapting pretty good to the league and the style so I’m happy.”
The player also spoke about Arsenal boss in an interview with the Premier League.
“He’s a master of seeing the details. And the way he’s coaching us and helping us to achieve things, we’re lucky to have him.
If James decides to arrive at the Emirates, then he will surely adapt to the team’s philosophy as smoothly as Real Madrid’s star did.
