Mario Mandzukic turns down £7m-a-year Qatar move as he pins hopes on United transfer

Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic hasn’t signed a £7million-a-year contract with Qatar as he still wishes to move to Manchester United. As the Red Devils are lack of goals, they could sign the 33-year-old in January. The Argentine was targeted by the United in the summer along with Paulo Dybala but the move failed at the time when Mandzukic didn’t agree to move to the Premier League. Now when the interest in Mandzukic has risen, Juve wants an £11million fee for the footballer. The striker believes he would still have the opportunity to show abilities at the top level and hasn’t yet developed them under new Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri.
