Marina Granovskaia eyes £190m double swoop for two Chelsea defenders

Chelsea chief Marina Granovskaia is reportedly eyeing a blockbuster £190million double swoop for Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen The centre-back duo are into the final year of their Chelsea contracts, meaning they would be at liberty to negotiate with other clubs in January ahead of a free summer departure. The Blues are reportedly in ‘deep worry’ as they try everything to keep both stars under wraps, although Rudiger’s situation in particular seems precarious. According to Eurosport, Matthijs De Ligt and Jules Kounde remain on Chelsea’s hit list if they are forced into the market in January or the summer. De Ligt's Juventus release clause is supposedly in the region of £128million, while Kounde has a £68m release clause at Sevilla. Spending up to £190m on two defenders would be a mighty blowout for Chelsea, but matters at the top of the Premier League are extremely tight this campaign.
