Marcus Rashford sends message to Tanguy Ndombele over his Jose Mourinho problems

Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has sent message to Tanguy Ndombele over his Jose Mourinho problems.

The Tottenham midfielder was strongly criticised for his poor performance during the club's 1-1 draw with Burnley. Speaking in a post-match TV interview, Mourinho told Sky Sports"He's a player with a great talent, and he has to know he has to do much better, and I cannot keep giving him opportunities to play because the team is more important than the players, and they must be on the pitch as a consequence of their work and performance." After the case Spurs have played only one game - a 3-0 UEFA Champions League loss to RB Leipzig, when Ndombele was amongst the substitutes.
Since then, Mourinho was seen working with the player in the training session, with the coach later apologising for breaking lockdown rules. However, his training could offer that Mourinho is trying to improve Ndombele's skills. Rashford, who used to work with the Portuguese boss at Old Trafford has revealed that Mourinho made him a better player in spite of ups and downs in their relationship. He told the Official UTD Podcast: "It was tough but I think when you look back on it in five or six years, they're the moments that give you that mental toughness. As an all-round player I've improved a lot and a lot of it is down to those two years under Jose. We had ups and downs. When I look back at it, it was a tough period but definitely a period that made me a better player."
