Marcus Rashford posted a message of defiance after injury made him withdraw from the senior England squad.
The 23-year-old missed England's friendly win over Republic of Ireland on Thursday night and has now withdrawn from the latest international camp entirely.
England had hoped Rashford would join up with Gareth Southgate's side this weekend ahead of their Nations League double header against Belgium and Iceland, but he will stay with United instead.
Taking to social media on Friday morning Rashford confirmed the injury blow but insisted he would be back as soon as possible.
"I'll be back. Good luck boys," he wrote on Twitter as he quoted the original post from the England account confirming his injury withdrawal.
