Marcus Rashford sends message after Manchester United’s defeat to Tottenham

Manchester United youngster Marcus Rashford has taken to Twitter and issued an apology after the Red Devils lost 6-1 to Tottenham on Sunday. The only goal scored for United was by Bruno Fernandes on the second minute from a penalty spot, while Anthony Martial was sent off on 28th minute of the game. "First and foremost I’m a United fan," Rashford posted on Twitter. "This is my club. I’m so proud to wear this shirt but there are no excuses, it’s just not good enough and to every single fans around the world that tuned in today, I’m just so sorry. "You deserve so much better than that. I would have stayed away from social media tonight but you deserve to hear from me during the highs and the lows, there is no hiding.
