Marcus Rashford has shared some talks with Leicester City midfielder James Maddison after Manchester United’s 2 -1 defeat over Chelsea.
The United centre-forward scored two games in the Carabao Club match, first taking a penalty, then having an impressive free-kick for the club.
After the match the 22-year-old posted his own picture, celebrating his scoring at Stamford Bridge.
He wrote on his Instagram page: “Class win. Class support. Class night. Hope you enjoyed your birthday Dwaine Maynard (Rashford’s brother and agent).”
Maddison was among those who commented on the forwards’ post, writing “Nah that free-kick” with a stunned-face emoji.
Rashford replied: “Maddison [I’ve] been watching you mate.”
The club supporters have noticed the two player’s conversation exchange, as firmly Maddison was linked with United for the winter transfer window.
