Marc-Andre ter Stegen read Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s tactical note for Marcus Rashford (VIDEO)

Manchester United’s Champions League run ended in the quarter-finals as Lionel Messi inspired Barcelona to a crushing victory in the second leg at the Nou Camp, after 1-0 victory at Old Trafford. Footage has now emerged which shows that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer attempted to tactical changes, as he handed Marcus Rashford a handwritten tactical note, presumably to pass on the information to his teammates. However, Rashford dropped it outside the Barcelona penalty are and goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen couldn’t resist the temptation of reading the note. It shows that Solskjaer wanted his players in a 4-4-2 formation, rather than the 4-3-1-2 his side initially started the game with.
Although the video quality isn’t great, it’s understood that the note reads: Vic (Victor Lindelof), Chris (Chris Smalling), Jones (Phil Jones), Ash (Ashley Young); Jesse (Jesse Lingard), Scott (Scott McTominay), Fred, Paul (Paul Pogba); Rash (Marcus Rashford), Anthony (Anthony Martial). https://twitter.com/utdreport/status/1118807843887616001
