Manchster United must keep one player for the long term but it’s not Paul Pogba says Tony Cascarino

Paul Pogba has been a key aspect of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side but former striker Tony Cascarino thinks that Manchester United should focus on Marcus Rashford. The French midfielder has scored 14 goals and provided 10 assists in 32 games, while Rashford has 10 goals and 8 assists in 32 appearances overall this season. Rashford's contract is due to expire in the summer of 2020 and the contract extension talks have not started yet. Real Madrid have already shown an interest in the player but as Tony Cascarino claims, United should keep the youngster. “This match again showed that if United need to keep any of their players for the long term then that player is Marcus Rashford,” he wrote in The Times. (per DailyStar) “They should be prepared to put him among the top earners in the Premier League if that is what it takes to keep hold of him.  His pace may not be quite as devastating as Kylian Mbappé’s but he is not that far off. It feels as if he has been around forever but he is still only 21. “Two areas where I feel he has improved are in his finishing, which has become much more clinical, and his work-rate. He did not score last night but he made a vital contribution with that brilliant cross for Paul Pogba’s headed goal.”
