Manchester United’s one condition for making signing before deadline day while five could leave

Manchester United will sign a new player in the January transfer window under unexpected changes in circumstances, according to boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who is happy with his current squad. Only five days are remaining the transfer window but possible arrivals at Old Trafford are highly unlikely. On the prospect of any additions before February 1, Solskjaer confirmed: "I wouldn’t think so, no. I would be surprised if we do any incomings. The squad is strong, it is full of quality. I still need to leave players out of the squad at times. Bar something surprising happening I don’t think anything will happen in terms of incomings, no." An unforeseen serious injury crisis today might be the only thing to change United’s path in the market. On the other hand, the club hierarchy wants to offload some fringe players. Marcos Rojo, Sergio Romero, Jesse Lingard, Facundo Pellistri and Brandon Williams are among the players who are expected to face the exit door. While goalkeeper Romero has been linked with a move to Boca Juniors, Lingard looks to sign for West Ham United on a loan deal until the end of the season. Club Brugge are keen on a loan move for teenager Pellistri and Williams is open to a brief Premier League move.
