Manchester United's Jesse Lingard in talks to join Ligue 1 side this summer

Jesse Lingard has reportedly been in talks with French Ligue 1 side Nice over a potential move this summer. Manchester United midfielder's contract was extended by a further year last month, which means he will not be leaving on a free transfer this summer. According to Sky Sports, Nice are now keen to sign the 28-year-old, and are negotiating with the player. Sheffield United are also interested in the England international, but Lingard would rather stay at United till the end of the season than join in the Blades' relegation battle (as per The Athletic ).
