Bruno Fernandes has dismissed a rumour linking him with a transfer to Barcelona, becoming the latest player to squash reports of unhappiness at Manchester United. Portuguese outlet SPORT TV dragged the midfielder – who was criticised by Gary Neville for ‘whinging’ after a recent draw against Newcastle – into the mix, claiming he had been offered to Barcelona. However, the 27-year-old has shot down the rumour in spectacular fashion, comparing it to an April Fools’ joke.
