Manchester United transfer chief Ed Woodward in talks to find 'complex agreement' for Sanchez

Inter Milan have started talks with Manchester United to discuss the possible signing of Alexis Sanchez, according to CalcioMercato. The Chilean international was expected to return to Old Trafford this summer. Sanchez joined Manchester United in January 2018. Much was expected of Sanchez, but the attacker managed just five goals in 45 appearances. And having suffered more injuries and registered one goal in 15 appearances for Inter Milan, Antonio Conte and co. had reportedly decided not to make his stay permanent. However, Italian publication Calciomercato claim that Inter chiefs and executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward are already in talks to negotiate a 'complex agreement' for Sanchez. And should the former Barcelona star finish the season in style - then Inter CEO Beppe Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio will try to secure his signature for the long term. Source: Express
