Manchester United are reportedly ready to put aside their interest in Aston Villa skipper Jack Grealish.
The Englishman played an essential role in keeping Villa in the Premier League and the West Midlands outfit may be prepared to cash in on their star man.
But they have refused to budge on a valuation which is said to be in excess of £50m, a figure regarded as too high by United.
According to the
Evening Standard, the Europa League semi-finalists may return with an offer for Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek. Although well stocked for options in the centre of the pitch, the Netherlands international could provide competition for Bruno Fernandes in the number 10 role.
This season van de Beek has made 37 appearances for Ajax, has netted 10 times and provided 11 assists.
