Manchester United to miss out on Mauricio Pochettino as Real Madrid set Zidane 'deadline'

Manchester United have recently been linked with a move for former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino, however, the Argentine may be heading to Real Madrid. United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is under constant pressure at Old Trafford with Pochettino’s name regularly mentioned as a potential successor. However, a move to the Bernabeu has also been touted with Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane also feeling the strain. The Spanish giants were beaten by Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on Tuesday and now face an uphill battle to qualify for the last-16. According to Spanish outlet Marca, Zidane now has just four games to save his job with Pochettino tipped to take over. The quartet of matches Zidane reportedly has are not simple ones with a trip to Sevilla and Madrid derby with Atletico all over the next ten days. Zidane guided Real to three successive Champions League titles in his first spell in charge and insists he will not step down. Source- Daily Star Join us on Telegram!
