Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish responds to Graeme Souness criticism

Aston Villa captain and Manchester United target Jack Grealish has responded to criticism from Graeme Souness, who was highly critical of Grealish during Sky Sports' coverage of Villa's clash against Premier League champions Liverpool on Sunday. Grealish and Villa were beaten 2-0 by Jurgen Klopp's side at Anfield. Souness stated he is yet to be convinced by Grealish, who has attracted United 's interest, questioning why a club would want to sign a player who is the most-fouled in the division. "When I was playing I would not want to have been the most fouled player in the Premier League," Souness said on Sky Sports. "That means I'm holding onto the ball too long. That means I'm not seeing the picture early enough, taking too many touches when I don't need to. There's no doubt about it he has ability, easy on the eye, silky. But I'm yet to be convinced by him." Grealish posted the image along with the words: "Can't please everyone" and a shrugging man emoji.
