Manchester United will initiate talks with Jesse Lingard over a new deal in the coming weeks as part of an agreement.
The 25-year-old signed a new four-year deal with the club in 2017, boosting his pay to around £100,000-a-week at Old Trafford.
Such a deal made many surprise but Lingard emerged as one of United’s key performers last term, scoring 13 goals in 48 appearances for the Red Devils and now he is a first-team regular under Jose Mourinho.
According to Metro.co.uk United will boost his salary later this year a they want Lingard to feel valued given his improved stature at the club since signing his last deal.
