Manchester United star close to leaving club as personal terms agreed

Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo is close to leaving Old Trafford after agreeing personal terms with Boca Juniors. The Argentine hasn't featured for the Red Devils this term and he’s been told he will not be offered an extension to his current deal, which expires at the end of the season. Rojo spent the second half of last season on loan at Estudiantes and United had hoped to get offers for the Argentina international last summer. According to the Daily Mail, Boca have offered Rojo a route out of Old Trafford and the defender has already agreed personal terms with the South American giants. And it’s unlikely that United will activate the extension option as Boca are not willing to put up a significant fee for the former Sporting Lisbon defender. The 30-year-old is unlikely to be the last outgoing this January, as compatriot Sergio Romero has been told he’s surplus to requirements at Old Trafford. Source- Metro Join us on Telegram!
