Manchester United set to announce three signings

Manchester United are hopeful of announcing the academy signings of Marc Jurado, Alvaro Fernandez, and Isak Hansen-Aaroen, according to Manchester Evening News. United announced their Academy intake for 2020-21 last week when they confirmed the signing of Joe Hugill from Sunderland and Radek Vitek of Sigma Olomouc. MEN reports, that United are awaiting international clearance for Jurado, Fernandez, and Hansen-Aaroen, who became Tromso's youngest-ever player at the age of 15 years and 319 days earlier this month. Right-back Jurado, 16, and left-back Fernandez, 17, have both posted farewell messages to former clubs Barcelona and Real Madrid ahead of their moves to Manchester. Fernandez has agreed on a four-year deal with United. Former academy head Nicky Butt oversaw an aggressive recruitment drive. Nick Cox replaced Butt, now the head of first-team development, last year and United agreed on a €10million deal with Monaco for France youth midfielder Hannibal Mejbri. Source: MEN
