Manchester United sent Jack Grealish transfer plea after Aston Villa defeat

Tim Sherwood believes Manchester United should swoop for Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish. Grealish has long been linked with a move to Old Trafford. However, the £80million price tag has cooled interest in the 24-year-old this summer. Former Villa boss Sherwood thinks Grealish could add a new dimension to Solskjaer's team. “When teams back off, that’s when Manchester United have struggled, but that was until [Bruno] Fernandes came in,” Sherwood told Sky Sports. “Fernandes could find the key to the door and open teams up. Van de Beek can do that as well, he makes runs and scores goals. But I would also go for Jack Grealish, he can open the door, he’s another Fernandes and gives them another quality that they need.”
