Manchester United rejoin race for €150m midfielder

Manchester United are ready to battle rivals Manchester City for the signing of Atletico Madrid star Saul Niguez, according to ESPN FC. It has been reported that Pep Guardiola is ready to move for Saul and that Barcelona have the first refusal on the player. The Spaniard admitted to the media that he cannot be certain he will stay at Madrid for the duration of his eight-year deal. United are considering Saul as a potential replacement for Ander Herrera, who is seemingly set to move to Paris Saint –Germain at the end of the season when his deal expires. Atletico Madrid set to demand  Saul’s full €150million release clause. He has a massive contract with La Liga side until 2026.
