Manchester United ready to sell six players this summer, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to boost transfer funds, according to The Telegraph. Jesse Lingard, Alexis Sanchez, Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo, Phil Jones and Diogo Dalot are all in the list.
Solskjaer wants to sign right-sided forward this summer and Borussia Dortmund ace Jadon Sancho is their top target. However, they will not have too much money to spend this summer due to the financial impact of Covid-19.
Therefore, they are ready to part ways with their players.
Roma are keen to extend Smalling’s successful loan for another season. However, United would like a guaranteed sale and in talks over a £21m deal. Lingard could fetch the biggest fee and his situation.
Rojo is currently on loan at Estudiantes and the defender is surplus to requirements. Meanwhile, United have come to accept Jones’s fitness can no longer be relied upon and will let him leave if the right offer comes in. Dalot wants regular football and could be on his way out of the club. Sanchez is currently on loan at Inter Milan.
