Manchester United Predicted XI: Solskjaer hints at benching De Gea against West Ham

Manchester United have the chance to move into the top four of the Premier League table for the first time since September. They are set to welcome West Ham United to Old Trafford on Wednesday evening. The Red Devils have Champions League qualification in their own hands heading into their final two games of the season, while West Ham safe from the threat of relegation. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would not say whether under-fire Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea will start Wednesday’s clash. Solskjaer was in no mood to focus on the goalkeeper in the build-up and said “this is not going to become a David De Gea press conference”. Asked if he could clear up whether De Gea would start against the Hammers, the United boss said with a laugh: “No, because I don’t want to talk about him! But we can suggest, that Sergio Romero will replace De Gea between the sticks against West Ham United. The hosts will be without Eric Bailly after he was stretchered off in a neck brace. Luke Shaw remains a major doubt after twisting his ankle against Southampton, while United are also without Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe.
