Manchester United have confirmed that Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Edinson Cavani and Juan Mata will leave the club when their contracts expire in June.
United finished the 2021/2022 season 6tth in the Premier League and will compete in the Europa League next season.
While United say goodbye to Cavani, Pogba, Lingard and Mata, there are several players whose contracts expire at the end of 2022/2023 season.
Rashford has been with United’s senior team since 2015. The 24-year-old has established himself as one of the key players of the Red Devils squad. His contract expires in the summer of 2023 but it included club option for 1 year.
Ronaldo returned to Manchester United after 12-years in the summer of 2021 from Juventus. The 36-year-old was a United player from 2003 to 2009 after he joined Real Madrid. He also could see his contract expire in 2023, however, it has an option for a further year.
Shaw joined United in 2014 from Southampton. The defender has made 213 appearances for the Red Devils in which he has scored 3 goals and provided 22 assists. Shaw’s contract also expires in 2023 and it also has a club option for 1 year.
The Brazilian joined the Red Devils in 2018 from Shakhtar Donetsk. During this season, Fred has made 36 appearances, scored 4 goals and provided 6 assists. His contract also includes an option for a further year.
De Gea has been with Manchester United since 2011 as he joined them from Atletico Madrid. He is also one of the key players of the squad. The goalkeeper’s contract runs until the summer of 2023 and has an option for a further year.
Dalot signed for United in 2018. During this season, Dalot has made 30 appearances.. The 22-year-old’s contract also expires in the summer of 2023.
Phil Jones has been with the Red Devils since 2011 and his contract expires in 2023. Jones has made overall 228 appearances in which has scored 6 goals and provided 10 assists.
