Manchester United planning a Janary swoop for Chelsea target

Manchester United are planning a January swoop for Chelsea target Lorenzo Pellegrini, according to CalcioMercato. The Roma midfielder, who currently has a £26m release clause, attracted a number of suitors following 17/18 campaign. Pellegrini was linked with a move to United over the summer, but they put their interest on the backburner as they pursued their chase for Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. Pellegrini rejoined Roma in 2017 from Sampdoria having started his professional career in the Italian capital. Serie A side are desperately attempting to Sign Pellegrini to a new contract.
