Manchester United’s owners the Glazers want a fee in the region of £4billion to sell the club, according to reports. The Americans have been in charge of things since 2005.
Now protests against their ownership are gathering speed again. United fans are furious after the Glazers tried to make them founding members of a new European Super League.
Football365 reports that United’s owners would want a sale for around £3.5bn – – a fee that would be a six-fold increase on what they paid 16 years ago. However, it’s said some financiers have suggested they’d only start to listen to offers of at least £4bn instead.
