Manchester United to offload Alexis Sanchez on free transfer

Manchester United are desperate to get rid of Alexis Sanchez that they are prepared to offload him on a free contract. Sanchez has managed just five goals in 45 appearances for United since his move to Old Trafford 16 months ago. The Chilean is the highest-earning player in the Premier League on £505,000 a week. According to The Times, that may not be a problem any longer as United are now willing to release Sanchez if it means getting his wages off their books for good.
