Arsenal’s chances to sign Juan Mata decrease as Manchester United offer one-year deal

Manchester United have offered Juan Mata a new one-year deal. Mata, who is out of contract at the end of the season has been linked with Arsenal. If Mata signs the contract extension he will commit his future to United and Arsenal will be left hopeless. Mata has found himself in and out of the side under Solskjaer and may receive more opportunities to play elsewhere. During his time at United Mata has won the FA Cup, the Europa League and the League Cup. This season Mata has made 22 apearances for United, scoring five goals.
