Manchester United newcomer to miss Champions League clash v RB Leipzig

Manchester United newcomer Alex Telles was not seen at the team’s hotel as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side met before Wednesday’s Champions League clash against Red Bull Leipzig. The Brazilian impressed on his debut for the club in a 2-1 win against Paris Saint-Germain last week but he was subsequently left out of the squad for Saturday’s 0-0 draw against Chelsea. And, Telles was not spotted with his team-mates that arrived at the Hilton Hotel on Wednesday afternoon. The left-back is staying at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester’s city centre – which United normally stay at before home matches. Should Telles be unavailable, Luke Shaw is likely to continue at left-back and the Brazilian’s absence would make it more difficult for Solskjaer to convert to the 3-4-1-2 that he played against PSG last weekend.
