Manchester United face competition from PSG for Porto left-back Alex Telles. United have been linked with the move for the 27-year-old along with the interest in Real Madrid's Sergio Reguilon whose transfer was hijacked by Tottenham. The defender is believed to be available for around €20m, while according to O Jogo, French side PSG have oined the race to sign him. Atletico Madrid are also believed to be interested in Brazilian. Hence, United will need to be quick to win the competition for Telles, with the club still having secured one signing till October 5. Speaking about the transfer window, Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: "Fans will always want the best possible team to watch, the best possible Man United team. "And that's the passion we want and, of course, the history we have. We can look back 10 years or 20 years and you look back at the great players we have. "For me, going forward, since Sir Alex left we've been averaging fifth. Last season we got third, which was a big step forward. “Everyone saw the development in the team throughout the season, Bruno [Fernandes] coming in, Harry [Maguire] being captain and really showing leadership skills on and off the pitch. Aaron [Wan-Bissaka] was good.
"And we want want to take a step forward and we can go into the new season with confidence, but we're looking to give the group a boost and we're working on it. "Of course, we've done some business with Donny, I'm very happy and delighted to get him in. An exceptional, smashing lad that'll give us something. I can't say anything about other clubs' players out of respect for them, I can't speculate."
