Manchester United makes decision on Facundo Pellistri and Amad Diallo transfers this January

Manchester United have not decided yet whether Amad Diallo will join the first-team squad straightaway if he arrives at the club in January. Red Devils signed Atalanta forward for a fee rising to £37million on deadline day in October and are in the process of finalising a work permit so the Ivory Coast-born winger can move to England in the New Year. Diallo and fellow right winger Facundo Pellistri completed transfers to United on the same day but Uruguayan Pellistri, also 18, moved to Manchester straight away and has scored three goals in his last three appearances for the Under-23s. The U23s travel to Chelsea on Friday but do not play again for a month after that and Pellistri is pushing for a return to the first-team squad. "We felt Facundo would benefit," Solskjaer explained. "He started training with the first-team - he did well but we couldn't give him game-time so we thought we'd give him a run of games in the 23s and he's benefited from that. His confidence has been given a boost. He's shown in all the games that he can impact the game. "With Amad, hopefully we can get him in and we'll see how the squad looks and how he looks and how he settles as soon as possible. They're both talented players that we believe will have a long career here. It's important we find the right time." Source- Manchester Evening News Join us on Telegram!
