Manchester United 'make transfer approach' for Napoli defender and it's not Koulibaly

Manchester United have reportedly contacted with agents of Napoli defender Giovanni Di Lorenzo, according to Calcio Napoli 24. Di Lorenzo has been linked with a move to Old Trafford and United have discussed a move with his agent. United have been informed to his talents due to his versatility across the defence. But reports suggest he will be signed as a back-up. Napoli are keen to keep the full-back. At this stage, United contact with Di Lorenzo's agent is only a fact-finding mission to learn more information about the Italian, rather than any concrete approach. The former Empoli star only joined Napoli for £7million (€8m) last summer, and is under contract at the San Paolo until 2024. Source: The Mirror
