Manchester United make preparations for £80m West Ham player transfer

Manchester United have reportedly started their preparations to sign West Ham midfielder Declan Rice. The Red Devils are lack of power after Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini's departure. Yet, Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba’s future in the club is unclear, which leads to sign new players. Though United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has targeted Rice for the next summer, the 20-year-old is possible to move to Old Trafford during the winter transfer window, according to Goal. Image Source: Twitter Rice has made his debut for West Ham in 2017 and has played 81 games since now. He has a contract with the Hammers until 2024. Despite the rumours over his transfer, he told: "I signed a five-year contract with West Ham last year, which will keep me at the club till I'm 24, and for me, this is the best place to be right now. I am playing for a manager who has given me my chance and played me week in, week out. I'm improving every week and although I see all this speculation, I don't really think about it too much. It's all talk until something happens - and nothing has - so I'm just focused on West Ham, doing my best and making fans happy." Source: Mirror
