Manchester United latest injury update hands Chelsea and Tottenham top four boost

Manchester United's key players Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes have been injured in training and are now doubtful for the club's game against Bournemouth. According to The Mirror the accidental clash occurred when Pogba ran into his teammate as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer put the final touches to his side's preparation for Saturday's game. Both players were taken away for treatment, with Fernandes appearing to come off worse. The news could well hand a boost to Chelsea and Tottenham's top-four hopes. The Blues are currently fourth in the Premier League. But this week's defeat to West Ham has seen them looking over their shoulders at United in fifth, just two points behind them. Spurs are in ninth, however, dismal form from the teams above them has meant their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League are not over yet. The duo's absence would be a significant blow to United, with the pair having played key roles since the Premier League's return. Source -football.london
