Manchester United interested in Leicester City star

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Leicester City right-back Ricardo Pereira. The 26-year-old has impressed in both attack and defence for the Foxes and his outstanding form has caught the attention of some of Europe’s biggest clubs. As French publication Le 10 Sport report, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United have both been keeping close tabs on Pereira ahead of the January transfer window. United are claimed to be "very interested" in signing the Brazilian despite having summer signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka with Diogo Dalot and Ashley Young being other options at right-back. However, Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers have previously insisted they are not intended to sell any player this January. "We have absolutely no plans to lose anyone in January," he said last month. "Our job is to keep what we have. If there’s an opportunity to improve the squad we will look to do that. If not, we will carry on with the squad we have, which is very strong." Source- Metro
