Manchester United have a solution for replacing forward Odion Ighalo after former player Gary Neville’s advice.
The Red Devils have reportedly been trying to keep the Nigerian at Old Trafford permanently, as he has been on loan from Shanghai Shenhua since January.
With four goals in eight appearances, the 30-year-old has made a strong impression but Neville has expressed doubt about signing the forward at Carrington.
He said on Instagram Live:
"Is Ighalo worth £20m? Probably not in this market. He may have been if he continued before scoring goals but you probably don’t need now to spend £20m."
United, though, do have a wildcard they can pull out if they are unable to secure the Nigerian’s signature. As they have Alexis Sanchez out on loan at Inter Milan. United intend to welcome the Chilean back to Old Trafford and give him another chance.
