Manchester United have told Ousmane Dembele their plan to sign him from Barcelona this summer. The Red Devils have been interested in the Frenchman and they have a new plan to finally secure their man. He has been revived under Ronald Koeman this term. The Dutch manager has used Dembele in a 3-5-2 system in recent matches, allowing him to use his speed up-front alongside Lionel Messi. According to sport.es, United have remained in contact with Dembele. The Red Devils have now told Dembele that they are willing to make Barcelona a transfer offer this summer. In the worst-case scenario, they will wait until his contract expires and sign him on a free transfer. Sport also report that new club president Joan Laporta, elected to lead the club at the start of March, has made it a priority to begin negotiations and hopes to seal a new deal in the coming weeks.
