Manchester United are reportedly planning to offer Sergio Romero to Aston Villa in order to sign Jack Grealish. The 24-year-old is admired by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as he looks to challenge Liverpool and Manchester City for the Premier League title. And, even though Jadon Sancho is their priority transfer target, Grealish may move to Old Trafford as well.
The Red Devils have seen Bruno Fernandes transform the Red Devils since his move from Sporting Lisbon in January, scoring eight goals and registering seven assists from 14 Premier League matches. However, Solskjaer wants midfield reinforcements nonetheless.
According to the
Daily Mail, United retain transfer interest in Aston Villa captain Grealish, despite Sancho currently being the priority. It’s reported that the Red Devils are planning to offer Romero in return for the 24-year-old.
United are willing to let Romero go, with Solskjaer primed to bring Dean Henderson into his squad for next season. Villa are supposedly interested in Henderson as they look to sign an upgrade on veteran Pepe Reina.
