Manchester United handed three injury doubts ahead of Liverpool game

Manchester United will face Liverpool in an away Premier League game on Sunday, January 17. United played against Burnley on Tuesday and celebrated a 1-0 victory as they topped the league with 3 points ahead of the Reds. During the game, Anthony Martial and Nemanja Matic suffered injuries. Martial was replaced against Burnley as he suffered an apparent hamstring injury, meanwhile, Matic went down in the added time of the game with what it seemed to be a groin problem, however, he played on until the end. While Victor Lindelof missed the game entirely due to a back problem. Eric Bailly played in central defence ahead of Lindelof and had an impressive impact, despite taking a knock himself in the FA Cup. “He wanted to play, he was ready, he came through [training] yesterday, he didn't do everything but he was ok. Victor had a little reaction so we left him back," Solskjaer said of Bailly's selection and Lindelof's absence prior to kick-off. source - Manchester Evening News / Join us on Telegram
