Manchester United fined €15,000 by UEFA

Manchester United have been fined €15,000 by UEFA for their late arrival to their Champions League fixture at home to Valencia earlier this month. The Red Devil’s were team bus became stuck in traffic on the way to Old Trafford before the fixture on October 2, and they only arrived just under half an hour before the scheduled 8pm kick-off. That resulted in the Group H Match being delayed by five minutes, with kick-off at 8.05pm. The game ended in a goalless draw, with United being denied by some resolute defending from the visitors.
