Manchester United have reignited interest of signing Dortmund's Jadon Sancho and hope to finalise financial terms with the player’s representatives before placing a bid for the England winger.
Dortmund set United a deadline of August 8th to sign the former Manchester City midfielder and the Bunesliga giants are planning for next season with Sancho after the Red Devils failed to meet their £108m asking price
However, United believe Dortmund’s deadline was a ploy to extract their full asking price for the winger and they feel a deal can still be done for Sancho.
According to
the Daily Mail claim the club have resumed talks with the winger’s team to come to an agreement over his salary and their cut of a deal. Once United settle financial terms with Sancho’s entourage, the club will submit an opening offer to Dortmund.
Talks have already been held with the Bundesliga giants but an official bid was never submitted, with United and Dortmund instead opening a dialogue over a fee.
United have already completed the signing of Donny van de Beek on Wednesday for a fee of £40m to kick off their summer spending.
